Allianz Placements 

Allianz Ireland are working with The WAM Programme to recruit graduates with disabilities for 8 paid and mentored graduate positions.  

All of the roles are 12- month contracts commencing in August 2022 and offering a hybrid work model of remote and on-site at Allianz Offices in Elm Park, Dublin 4.  Allianz plc has fully embraced the hybrid work model and embedded brand new ways of working over the course of the past number of months empowering teams to embrace hybrid working independently.

Roles are available in the following business functions:

  • Insurance (4 various positions) Minimum NFQ Level 7 degree required 
  • Human Resources - Minimum NFQ Level 7 degree required, ideally a HR qualification 
  • Market Management - Minimum NFQ Level 7 degree required, ideally a Marketing or Business qualification
  • Portfolio - Minimum NFQ Level 7 degree in Actuarial Science, Maths, Economics and Finance, Statistics
  • Finance - Minimum NFQ Level 9 Masters Degree in Business, Accounting, Actuarial or related discipline is required. Current students who are working towards completion of a Masters Degree this academic year are also invited to apply.

 Insurance - Enterprise Underwriting

The purpose of the role is to provide our customers with excellent customer service in underwriting of Property, Liability and/or Motor products for our Commercial customers.

Working within a team the role will require management of renewal portfolio, consistent contact with Brokers and Customer Relationship Executives, it will also offer the opportunity to engage in ongoing projects and initiatives developed for the benefit of customers and the team.

Applicants should have a third level degree course (NFQ Level 7) or equivalent. A Business qualification is desirable.

Insurance - Religious Underwriting

The purpose of the role is to provide our customers with excellent customer service in underwriting of Property, Liability and Motor products for our Religious and Education customers.

Insurance - Liability Claims

The purpose of the role is to provide our customers with excellent customer service in Claims.

Working within a specialist team the role will require management of a claims portfolio which will consist of contacting Customers and delivering excellent standards of customer service through high quality and efficient handling of policyholder’s claims. It will also offer the opportunity to engage in ongoing projects and initiatives developed for the benefit of customers and the team

Insurance - Retail Customer

The purpose of the role is to assist the Retail Customer Team in the delivery of its Retail Gameplan strategic objectives, for the intermediated distribution channels.

The role works in close co-operation with all Retail Team Members, the role will provide key support across a wide variety of topics within the area. 

Applicants should have a third level degree course (NFQ Level 7) or equivalent.

 Human Resources

The  People and Organisation (HR) graduate will work within a busy HR department, gaining experience in different areas of HR including, Recruitment, Policy and Procedures, Diversity and Inclusion and project activities.

The role will support colleagues and business managers, liaise with job applicants and new hires, maintain up to date, accurate records and also work on global and local projects to help out People and Organisation deliver a fantastic employee experience to the wider Allianz community.

Applicants should have a third level degree course (NFQ Level 7) or equivalent.  A HR qualification is desirable.

Portfolio

The Portfolio Steering graduate role is part of the Underwriting function, working alongside experienced underwriters, pricing actuaries and a team of pricing analysts on the full range of personal lines business including motor, household, and niche products. 

The role will work on using and improving management information reporting processes to analyse the performance of the personal lines business. Work will include analysing and upgrading data interrogation processes, analysing business performance through data processing and embedding and documenting relevant policies and procedures.

Applicants should have a third level degree course (NFQ Level 7) qualification or equivalent for example in Actuarial Science, Maths, Economics and Finance, Statistics.

Market Management

The Market Management graduate role is part of the Market Management function. The role will have the opportunity to learn from other team members and will provide support in the key areas of marketing administration, steering and governance. 

Applicants should have a third level degree course (NFQ Level 7) or equivalent, ideally in marketing, or business.

 Finance 

The Finance graduate role will work alongside qualified accountants and data analysts on the daily accounting tasks and delivering high standard financial reporting, regulatory reporting / statutory accounts and group reporting. 

Applicants should have an NFQ Level 9 Masters Degree in Business, Accounting, Actuarial or related discipline. Current students who are working towards completion of a Masters Degree this academic year are also invited to apply.
