This session will explore how a FET or HEI can embed accessibility across all areas of their digital ecosystem. From teaching and learning to student support and marketing. We will look at the key changes that have occurred at University College Cork since the implementation of the Inclusive UCC project.
Under the EU Web Accessibility Directive, all public service bodies are bound to make their digital content accessible. This applies to most types of content, including; Word, PowerPoint and PDF documents, videos, forms, VLEs and websites.
Embedding digital accessibility practices in any institution involves a change to the culture. This applies to all levels of operations within the organisation, from teaching and learning to student support and marketing. This interactive session will explore how a FET or HEI can embed accessibility across all areas of their digital ecosystem.
