How will the Hybrid format work for AHEAD 2023?

• What can the online audience see and hear: In most cases they will see a stream of what’s happening in-person. The AV technicians will be controlling the cameras so there will be a mix of shots such as showing a full panel, zooming in on individual speakers, showing the in-person audience etc. If in-person attendees ask questions, the online audience will be able to see and hear that person. 
• What can the in-person audience see and hear: They can see everything that’s happening live but cannot see the online audience. When sessions have online presenters they will be projected onto the big screens.  

The Student Panels will feature a mixture of online and in-person speakers. These sessions will be fully available to both the in-person and online attendees and engagement with the session will be identical for both audiences. These sessions will be recorded and made available after the conference once they have been captioned.

The Lightning Sessions are online-led and all speakers will be presenting online. These sessions will be fully available to both the in-person and online attendees  and engagement with the session will be identical for both audiences. These sessions will be recorded and made available after the conference once they have been captioned.

The Workshop Sessions will be in-person only and all speakers will be presenting in-person. In order for the attendees of these sessions to feel fully free to engage, ask questions and get the learnings that they need, these sessions will not be recorded. 

The Keynote Sessions will feature in-person speakers. These sessions will be fully available to both the in-person and online attendees and engagement with the session will be identical for both audiences. These sessions will be recorded and made available after the conference once they have been captioned.

The Whole Conference Conversations will  feature in-person speakers. These sessions will be fully available to both the in-person and online attendees and engagement with the session will be identical for both audiences. In order for the attendees of these sessions to feel fully free to engage, ask questions and get the learnings that they need, these sessions will not be recorded.
