Due to the current uncertain situation, all students with disabilities are now adapting to studying and learning from home.

In our recent learner survey, more than half of students felt they were not coping well with learning from home. Students who had a mental health condition were most likely to say they were not coping well with almost 70% of students in that category responding as such.

GetAHEAD have put together a 1 hour webinar that will look at practical tips for minding mental wellbeing as well as insights into how student mental health is being supported during this time.

We are delighted to have a diverse range of speakers contributing to this webinar:

  • Timmy Hammersley, Engagement and Participation Officer at Spunout.ie
  • Abigail McDonnell, Student Mental Health Activist
  • Róisín O'Donovan, Vice President for Welfare at the Union of Students in Ireland
