We are delighted to announce that Minister Donohue will launch The WAM publication ‘Building inclusive workplaces- celebrating 12 years of collaboration between The Irish Civil Service and AHEAD’ as part of The WAM Christmas Event in The National Gallery of Ireland on Thursday 6th December.
“On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me…”
The 12 days of Christmas represents twelve days of daily gifts (the usual stocking fillers; gold rings, French hens, ladies dancing). Traditionally each day also represents a wish for each month of the New Year. This year’s annual WAM Christmas Event we would like to invite guests to join us to celebrate the work of WAM and take away some key gifts to equip you for The New Year.
The gift of knowledge: In addition to The Minister launching the WAM publication celebrating the successful collaboration and key learnings of over 12 years partnership with The Irish Civil Service, there will be inputs from the civil service staff and a WAM graduate who have been involved in this important process.
The gift of awareness: There will be a panel discussion on disclosure from WAM employers from both the private and public sector on their experiences and advice on how to best support employees on this issue.
The gift of reflection: To prepare you for a new year of collaboration with The WAM programme we will send you off with a wish for the year to come and some interesting opportunities for the future work with AHEAD.
