Building The Future is a unique careers event aimed at students and graduates with disabilities from higher education. It has now been running for over 6 years and we are delighted to have the event hosted by Citi, 1 North Wall Quay yet again.
All attendees who have registered and attend on the day will be entered into a free raffle for an iPad!

Employer Exhibition Area
An opportunity for you to meet and chat with employers about jobs they have on offer, WAM placements, their graduate programes and general advice. So far confirmed are;

There will be 3 helpful and informative workshops on the day.
- Workshop 1 - How to Prepare for Psychometric Testing
- Workshop 2 - From Application Form to Interview
- Workshop 3 - What your Social Media Profile says about you
Walk-In CV Clinic:
On the day you can have the opportunity to bring your CV and get it ‘examined’ by one of our employers. Bring a copy of your CV on the day if you wish to get your CV examined and simply just make an appointment at the CV Clinic on the day!
Mock interviews will be carried out by some of most successful companies based in Ireland you will get feedback on how to improve your performance at interview. Places for the mock interviews are limited and must be booked at the registration stage. If you haven't managed to get an interview, you can always see if there is any vacant slots available on the day.
Special Feature - DESIGNS
This year's Building The Future will have a focus on deaf employment under the DESIGNS Project. There will be workshops for both employers and students and graduates on this topic and also we have reserved several mock interview slots for those who are Deaf and use Irish Sign Language. If you are a Deaf person with ISL, please do let us know on registration so we can allocate a mock interview for you.
