Workshops

At Building the Future we will have three workshops taking place throughout the day. The first workshop will kick off at 10am and the other two workshops will take place between 1pm - 2pm. These workshops will be hosted by employers and will explore some of the most relevant and important topics relating to beginning your career as a disabled graduate or student.

• 10.00am - Unlock Your Potential at Building the Future: Tips on Networking, Questions, and Confidence Building for Careers Events (AHEAD)
  • Get ready to make a strong impression at Building the Future! You’ll get the opportunity to learn essential networking tips, discover powerful questions to ask employers, and build the confidence needed to stand out in the exhibition space. Don't miss this opportunity to maximise your career fair experience!
• 1.00pm - Essential Strategies and Techniques for a Successful Interview (Central Bank)
  • Join us for a workshop packed with essential interview tips and strategies! Learn about effective interview preparation, confident communication, and making a lasting impression on potential employers. This workshop is sure to increase your interview success.
• 1:30pm - Mastering Application Forms: Tips and Tricks for Success (Public Appointment Service)
  • This 30-minute workshop will provide you with practical tips and expert advice for filling out application forms on publicjobs.ie correctly and effectively. This session aims to grow your confidence in navigating any application with ease and give you the chance to make a strong first impression and secure an interview. You will also get a chance to hear from a previous WAM graduate on their experience of the process.
