Never mind the AI, let’s get AT embedded first - Trevor Boland

The aim of this session is to show a DCU student-centred resource called Compass – an interactive AT/ Accessibility /UDL repository that fits in your VLE. The session will show you how Compass operates and gives students choice about how they learn about each tech tool / approach.

We will share the H5P files with you that make the resource and show how they can be uploaded and edited in your VLE.

Overall, the session will show how Compass creates awareness about inclusion and the technology and skills needed to co-create an inclusive environment. This shareable and editable resource can give anyone the opportunity to edit this digital artifact so it can be tailored for their cohort of students.
