A Debate on Assistive Technology in the Workplace

Date: 2ndMarch 2016
Time: 10.00am – 1pm
Location: Dell Ireland Cherrywood Dublin.

The WAM Programme at AHEAD are running a free training event hosted by WAM Employers Dell and ESB and is taking place as part of Engineers week.

The benefits of assistive technologies are well known – both for people with disabilities and also the fact that they can be low cost, available 24/7 and make a real difference in ‘levelling the playing field’.  Using the format of a debate we will examine the concerns that can arise as to how these new technologies fit into the learning or working environment.

The target audience for this event is HEI staff, interested employers, students and graduates with disabilities and other interested parties.

If you wish to attend this event, can you please register below.

Registration is ESSENTIAL and will close on 24th February.
