New Employer Information Meeting

The WAM programme at AHEAD are running an information session for employers who are interested in finding out more about the programme.

When: Thursday 1st February 12.00pm - 13.00pm.

The WAM programme is the transition to employment initiative of AHEAD. It offers graduates with disabilities the benefit of a 6 month minimum fully paid and mentored work internship with high profile employers. WAM was established in 2005 and, to date, have placed over 650 graduates with both private and public sector employers.

This meeting will be facilitated by the WAM Coordinator Deirdre Moore and WAM Project Officer Philip Carroll who will introduce you to how the WAM Programme can work with you on your diversity agenda and support graduates with disabilities into employment and become a WAM Leader.

It is aimed at new employers, particularly HR staff and senior managers who have taken an interest in WAM and would like to find more about the process involved. We will also be giving an overview of our recruitment procedures, our needs assessment, mentoring and support processes within the programme and it will be a space for you to ask questions in an informal setting.
