The WAM Programme is the transition to employment initiative of AHEAD. It offers graduates with disabilities the benefit of a minimum 6 month, paid and mentored work placement (internship) with high profile employers. When a WAM graduate is successfully placed within an organisation, a systematic workplace needs assessment is carried out by an AHEAD needs assessor. The needs assessment makes recommendations to the employer what workplace supports should be put in place, including any health and safety requirements and additional information.
This webinar will cover the following;
- What is a needs assessment and what does the law say?
- Tips on how to conduct a needs assessment
- Examples of needs assessments
- The Employer Perspective
- The Graduate Perspective
