WAM Leader Awards 2023
The WAM Leader Awards 2023 took place on the 16th August in the Museum of Literature Ireland. The WAM Leader Awards are given to employers to recognise their contribution in faciliating WAM placements and promoting the employment of graduates with disabilities for 2022-23.
WAM partnered with 15 major employers in securing over 60 positions for graduates with disabilities in 13 counties. Over 400 applications were made last year with over over half of applicants invited for interviews. Over 230 staff from companies here present engaged in WAM specific training and another 550 attendees at WAM Employer events. WAM also launched the development of a route to permanency for Civil Service and a new partnership with the local government sector.
